Camping Adventures attend ORA 2016

In the middle of June '16, Sydney held the annual Outdoor Retailer Australia, or commonly known as ORA, trade show. Our staff members here at Camping Adventures attended the show for the first time. Not knowing what to expect, we were all blown away by how big this show is and how many different products are out in the market and how many choices a customer can have when after a particular piece of equipment for their next trip.

There was a lot of very impressive gear that is new to the market and were being shown for the first time, and a lot of the existing gear that is constantly being updated. Our approach for the couple days we spent at the show was not only to learn as much product information on the new products to pass onto customers within our stores, but to also look out for the new products to hit the market for 2016/2017 that would suit our two stores. The criteria to fit into the store were we needed to find items that were of a high standard of quality, a price point that does not break the bank and it comes from a supplier who give a good level of on going service, not only to us, but to the customer as well, after they have purchased the item.
