Small lightweight tent pegs in 4mm diameter mild steel are made for smaller applications like hiking tents and larger 11.2mm diameter tent pegs are made for extra large tarpaulins and tents. The most popular size tent peg for the average size tarpaulin is 8mm x 300mm.
